CARING FOR HIS CLIENTS

Jeff's positive and caring attitude towards his clients - is what most clients would say is his greatest attribute.

With a remarkable ability to put himself in his clients' shoes, listen carefully to their needs and then use his own history and experiences as a home owner and home shopper to learn about and provide the best service for his clients. These attributes are the secrets of his success.

Jeff firmly believes that the most skilled agent's work goes to waste if a client does not feel that the agent cares. "If you (the client) feels that the Agent didn't genuinely care about your well-being, it doesn't matter how good they (the agent) were. The true measure of a very customer-oriented business is after the sale." Jeff's clients agree. In fact, 89% of his business comes from referrals and repeat clients.

Jeff believes that businesses that adopt THE GOLDEN RULE fall short on the Clients needs as The Golden Rule states: Do Unto Others As YOU Would Like Done Unto YOU. This assumes that a Clients needs and wants are the same as yours.

Many years ago, Jeff adopted THE PLATINUM RULE. The Platinum Rule is: Do Unto Others As THEY Want Done Unto THEMSELVES, A big difference!

Customer Service is the main focus of Jeff Stern. With his involvement as a Director of The Better Business Bureau of Manitoba and Northwest Ontario, to his lectures on Customer Service to a local job re-training school and even a story written in the Winnipeg Free Press in December 2000 and even his mission to pen a book on bringing back the long-lost customer centric environment to the retail and service sector, Jeff's passion for this subject show's. Jeff feels that since the late 1970's customer service has dwindled while businesses were trying to rescue "the bottom line" (profit's) and employee pride and loyalty has gone by the wayside as was good hiring practices and new employee training.
